Poem, "Wonder Woman Dreams of the Amazon," nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Two poems from Becoming the Villainess, "Persephone and the Prince Meet Over Drinks" and "Becoming the Villainess," appeared in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, 2007.

Poetry manuscript, A Thousand Tongues, was a semi-finalist in the Bakeless Literary Prize first book contest and a finalist in the Winnow Press first book contest, the Carnegie Mellon University Press Poetry Series, and for Kent State's Wick Prize in Poetry.

Received travel grant awards from Washington State Arts Commission, in 2004 and 2006.
