- Awarded a 2007 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize of $7,500.
- Awarded Washington State Artist Trust GAP Grant in 2007.
- Two poems from Becoming the Villainess, "Persephone and the Prince Meet Over Drinks" and "Becoming the Villainess," appeared in the 2007 edition of The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror.
- Awarded an "Honorable Mention" in the
2008 Mainichi Haiku Contest.
